Autumn/Winter 2011

With over 50 international collections now in store plus a whole new online shopping experience, the choice at Tiffany has never been so great and we are really excited about the coming season! Fashion for autumn/winter 2011/2012 epitomises elegance - wearable pieces in timeless colours, with an emphasis on clever cuts and flattering silhouettes in opulent fabrics and textures. Colours represent a traditional seasonal palette of black, grey, camel and taupe neutrals and murky woodland shades through to lighter forest shades of green.

Striking scarlet, the colour of Hollywood screen sirens is a major player, injecting some colourful drama. Matte black makes a statement, whilst deadened metallic hues add a touch of class. Ink is here to stay, highlighted with red and grey for a more casual look or with lilac for a more sophisticated feel. Equestrian style is one of autumn’s hottest trends, with riding jackets and boots key essentials.

Tweed jackets are a must worn with crisp white shirts and print scarves. Layered knits in contrasting textures remain the perfect autumn cover up. The classic camel coat remains a Winter wardrobe essential with oversized buttons adding a contemporary twist. Faux fur coats and gillets also stay as a favourite winter warmers and scarves in interesting prints are the must-have accessory of the season!

Alongside the timeless little black dress, bright tonal fabrics including animal, floral and abstract prints dominate eveningwear this autumn with the one-shoulder dress making its return into the spotlight. Red is the hot colour choice for eveningwear – its rich tonal palette demands attention!
